Welcome to Doodle Fit
Our classes based in Shaw (Oldham) are for boys & girls aged 2 years to 4 years. We offer half an hour of pure fun & fitness!! With exercises, dancing, imaginative movement and creativity - our classes will improve your little ones general fitness along with all the conventional benefits of supervised exercise such as discipline, independence, co-ordination, balance, teamwork and social interaction. If parents wish to join in (not compulsory) - they also get a 'mini work out' along with spending valuable time with their little one!
All children love to be active - they enjoy running around and having fun. Change For Life recommend that kids have at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day. The trouble is, in this modern world they’ve got other things to do (computer consoles and games grabbing their attention) and plenty of reasons not to go outside to play or run around (such as the British weather!!).
Children need physical activity that gets their heart pumping and beating faster than usual. This can help to burn off calories and prevent them storing up excess fat in the body which can lead to cancer, type 2 diabetes and heart disease. It also keeps their bones healthy and encourages muscle strength and flexibility. Activities such as jumping, skipping, dancing and running not only makes them feel good, but it helps to exercise their bones too and protect against brittle bone disease in later life.
